Chip introduction
MT7628/MT7688 is the industry's next-generation 802.11n Wi-Fi AP/router system-on-chip solution (SoC) released by MediaTek at the end of 2014. This new SoC provides high data transfer rates for data, voice and image applications in the smart home, and consumes much less power than other similar products on the market. MT7628 and MT7620 have the same 2T2R 300M wifi rate and rich interfaces, but it has lower power consumption and lower chip cost than MT7620. It has special features such as 3 serial ports and PWM output for IoT applications. It can be described as MT7620 (released in 2012) Upgrade product. MT7628 and MT7688 (1T1R 150M wifi) released in the same year are the same type of chips, and the pins and software of the two are almost completely compatible.
Features
The module has small size, low power consumption, low heat generation, and stable wifi and network port transmission performance. Run openwrt (linux) system for long-term stable operation.
